1980-1983, MS in Food Science, Cornell University. Became involved with Clown Ministry work.
1983-1985, worked for Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken & Biscuits R&D in New Orleans. Developed and/or commercialized new products including the Red Beans and Rice. Clowned at NOLA Children's Hospital on regular basis.
1985-1987, worked for Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers R&D in Dublin, Ohio. Developed and commercialized new products including the chili and chicken sandwich. Met my future wife while participating in a clown troupe.
1987-1989, worked for Golden West Foods (Division of McCormick & Co) R&D in Bedford, Virginia. Worked with restaurant companies to develop new menu items.
1987-2016, worked for Pilgrim's Pride R&D in Mount Pleasant, Texas and later transferred to Greeley, Colorado. Developed and commercialized menu items for restaurant chains including Wendy's, Jack in the Box, Papa John's, Donatos Pizza.
